The Government of Gujarat has signed an MoU with global electronics manufacturer Jabil to set up an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) unit in the Dholera Special Investment Region with an investment of around ₹1,000 crore. The facility is expected to be operational by 2027 and will create nearly 5,000 jobs while supporting R&D and skill development. The project will focus on sectors like networking, automotive, capital goods, and allied industries, strengthening Gujarat’s position as a growing hub for high-tech manufacturing.
