Gujarat Receives Nearly 17 GW Data Centre Proposals Under New Policy

Gujarat is strengthening its position as a major digital infrastructure hub, with nearly 17 GW of data centre proposals received under the state’s new Data Centre Policy 2026–29.

The policy targets the development of 7.5 GW of data centre capacity in Gujarat and offers incentives to attract large-scale digital infrastructure investments.

Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) has been identified as a key location for data centre development and is eligible for an additional 2.5% capital subsidy under the policy.

With its planned infrastructure and growing industrial ecosystem, Dholera is emerging as an important destination for Gujarat’s upcoming data centre and technology-led developments.
