At the Gujarat SemiConnect Conference 2025, eight major MoUs worth over ₹1.04 lakh crore were signed, positioning Gujarat as India’s emerging semiconductor hub. Key deals included Tata Electronics’ support agreement for its ₹91,526 crore fab in Dholera, NextGen’s ₹10,000 crore semiconductor and optoelectronics facility, Jabil India’s ₹1,000 crore silicon photonics unit, and partnerships with global players like Himax, Hitachi, and TSMT. These commitments will boost manufacturing, R&D, and job creation, strengthening Gujarat’s role in India’s semiconductor ecosystem.
