Gujarat Govt Finalising DPR for Kalpasar Project

During the ongoing Budget Session, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said the DPR for the Kalpsar project is being finalised and will be submitted to the state and central governments for approval once completed. The project, announced over three decades ago, is expected to be completed within eight years after receiving the required approvals.

The government also shared financial details, stating that ₹260.21 lakh has been spent over the past two financial years against a total allocation of ₹400 lakh as of December 31, 2025. In 2024–25, ₹147.53 lakh was spent out of ₹200 lakh, while in 2025–26 (up to December 31, 2025), ₹112.68 lakh was spent out of ₹200 lakh.
