Green SmartHomes, Green Dholera: SmartHomes Pledges 5 Lakh+ Trees for a Sustainable Future

Dholera, Gujarat: SmartHomes Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. has launched its flagship CSR initiative, "Green SmartHomes. Green Dholera.", with a commitment to facilitate the plantation of 5 lakh+ trees across Dholera and nearby regions.

The initiative aims to support Dholera’s sustainable growth by enhancing green cover, promoting biodiversity, improving air quality, and creating a healthier urban ecosystem alongside the city’s rapid development.

As part of the campaign, SmartHomes has already planted 3,000+ trees at Dholera Forest Estate and plans to develop a green ecosystem of approximately 40,000 trees within the project. The company also intends to plant around 1 lakh trees at Dholera Resort Estate in the coming years.

SmartHomes plans to collaborate with local communities, educational institutions, and environmental organizations to drive afforestation and environmental awareness across the region.

Speaking on the initiative, Founder & Director Rupinder Singh Khurana emphasized that Dholera’s growth must be accompanied by strong environmental stewardship, while Director Meenakshi Khurana highlighted the company’s commitment to responsible and sustainability-led development.

Through this initiative, SmartHomes aims to ensure that Dholera’s emergence as India’s first Greenfield Smart City is supported by a thriving and sustainable green ecosystem.
