The Gujarat government has announced several key infrastructure projects for Dholera Special Investment Region in the 2025–26 budget. Around ₹170 crore has been allocated for social infrastructure, including a school and a hospital. Additional provisions include ₹25 crore for a fire station, ₹20 crore for trunk infrastructure, ₹10 crore for sea dredging and land reclamation, ₹1 crore each for a desalination plant and an integrated residential township, and ₹5 crore for a tent city. Another ₹6.56 crore has been set aside for land acquisition reimbursement related to the upcoming airport. These developments aim to make Dholera a self-sustaining urban and industrial hub as large-scale projects like Tata’s semiconductor plant move forward.
