The Government of Gujarat has announced a ₹610 crore allocation in Gujarat Budget 2026 to accelerate trunk infrastructure development at Dholera Special Investment Region.
The investment will support key infrastructure including Dholera Airport facilities, modern road networks, water supply and wastewater systems, underground power distribution, and advanced ICT infrastructure.
The budget also highlighted the rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in Dholera and Sanand, positioning Gujarat as a rising global hub for chip manufacturing and advanced technology industries.
With this infrastructure push, the government aims to attract high-tech industries, boost electronics manufacturing, and generate skilled employment, strengthening Dholera’s vision as a future global industrial and innovation hub.
